Our students know the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness and wore pink to participate on the last Tuesday of the month.

Shoutout to our Art Teacher Mrs. Ybarra in having students involved in showcasing their amazing artwork in the districts events. Our student Diego Escobar has been diligently working on his project for the 2nd Annual Cultura Chalk Art Experience.

Our College and Career Center students had the opportunity to attend a powerful Domestic Violence Awareness event at UTRGV. District Attorneys from Hidalgo, Willacy, Cameron, and Webb counties shared important insights on the impact of domestic violence in our communities and the legal measures in place to support victims. It was an eye-opening experience that reminded us all of the importance of awareness, prevention, and standing up for those affected. Let’s continue to educate ourselves and be a voice for change! #DomesticViolenceAwareness #SupportSurvivors #CommunityAction

⏰Friendly Reminder! NO CLASSES! Students and staff will be off on Friday, October 11th, and on Monday, October 14 for Fall Holiday, and Bad Weather Day. Classes and La Joya ISD offices will resume on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Everyone is welcome to take part in our Anti-Bullying Week, and those that do are eligible to win prizes in a raffle! Participating also helps spread positivity. Together, let's build a more secure and compassionate community.
